We're more a service organization to the community. I don't know the percentage, but for us here, it's just like any other donation you'd give: You know if you give it locally, it'll help the people you want it to.

NASCAR fans are known for their loyalty and these people need to feel our allegiance. I beg that each of you find a way to give. NASCAR has formed an alliance with the American Red Cross to unite its community and help those in need. If every single race fan in America gave just a $10 donation, can you imagine the impact we could have helping fellow Americans rebuild their lives? His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness. Give. Please.

I really believe people want to give and like to give locally. It was great to send money to people who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. But it's even better to help these children and their families right here in Pennsylvania.

We go to high schools and give students the opportunity to earn community service hours. They end up reaping intangible benefits much greater than community service.

Since 1993, they have gone from a four-man business to an $8 million company that employs 100 people locally. Plus, they really give back to the community from donating to the Special Olympics to the Belleville East Band Foundation.

Numerous American lives have been affected by the devastation of hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. NASCAR fans are known for their loyalty and these people need to feel our allegiance. I beg that each of you find a way to give. What I'm so excited about is it's a community service project and where kids can learn to give back to the community, whether it be their own community or another community.

Our biggest issue is, what is community service? Volunteering is obvious, (like) going to a senior center, soup kitchen, etc. With service learning, kids give a lifelong service (to their communities).

We are very excited to give the community this unique dining experience by a locally owned and operated business. Residents have told us they wanted more Hawaii-based restaurants, and this is reflected in our Kailua community renewal strategy.

There is no age or income restriction. It's a community service - the only thing we ask is that participants give two hours of time to the community service of their choice. It can be volunteering in the church nursery, transporting a neighbor to the doctor, volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, or helping with the SHARE program.

They were active in the community because they were people-people. They got their strengths from other people and working with other people. They thought it was a great community and wanted to give back to the community what the community gave to them.

Service recovery doesn't end when you solve the customer's problem. Give her something of value that excites her. Every company has products or services that have value in the eyes of the customer that don't cost the company a lot of money. Identify five or ten products or services your organization has that you could give away when your organization makes a mistake. Vail Resorts has a system in place that provides free drinks when the ski lift shuts down for a few minutes and free lift tickets when it's down for more than 15 minutes.

This is a celebration for us. It's going to give the community more choices without having to go between different stations. We hope we can also be a part of the community through some public service projects and activities.

As we give contracts out to people, we tell them we want them to hire locally whenever they can.

I'm excited about it. The whole idea was for kids to be able to do a project that would count as the community service they need. This will give them something to show off in the public sector, something the community can actually see and enjoy.
