en (The Warriors) are a great team, and they had the home advantage, and they're not going to back down. We had to win that second game after they crushed us in that first one.

en [There are signs Saturday's game could mark the beginning of a new era. Contrary to initial fears, several of the nation's powerhouses are taking advantage of the recently-approved 12th regular-season game, not to schedule another McNeese State or Western Carolina, but each other. Ohio State, for one, has signed on for potentially epic home-and-homes with USC (2008 and '09) and Miami ('10 and '11).] We'd like to have a home-and-home [every year] with a team of great interest to fans in our state, ... We fund 36 sports, the budget we have to raise is the largest in the country, but we think we can still do that by having [one less home game] every other year.

en We thought we had chances to get back into the game. We turned the ball over here and there, and they did what great teams do - they took advantage of it. When you are playing against a good team like (Detroit), you have to take advantage of the opportunities and you can't throw the ball away.

en You've got a tremendous weapon in Peyton and what you want to do is take advantage of it. This game and this team and this offense is not about Tom Moore. This offense is about players. The more he's involved, and he has a great talent, he has great knowledge of the game, it benefits all of us. And it makes the game fun for him and it makes the game a challenge for him. He's so good at it, you want to take advantage and use it.

en [Briefly: Derek Fisher (dislocated middle finger) will be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Seattle. ... Wednesday's paid attendance of 17,323 represented the largest crowd for a preseason home game in Warriors history.] It didn't look like 17,000, but at times it sounded like it, ... That gives us a lot of energy. A lot of guys on this team thrive on that, so it was nice.

en We're coming back to the Bradley Center, and the Bradley Center has been a great building in the playoffs. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. They call it home-court advantage for a reason so we've got to go home and take advantage of it.

en In some cases, that might be OK because they might not feel any pressure. Especially when you have an opponent like Detroit. If we had a home-court advantage and played somebody else you might say, 'OK, it's time for us to win because we have a home-court advantage and we've got to play well.' But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

en I don't think they should step in and tell us what to do in our field, because it's our home-field advantage now. I think Chicago had their advantage there ? cold, windy. They've been playing in it all year; we haven't. So let's bring it back home and give the advantage to us now.

en It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.

en We had it down to the last out with the winning run at the plate and the guy you would want up. I couldn't ask for more than that. That is the game, you think you have home-field advantage, and we played great at home all, year but something happened.

en It's a positive step to get a home game, and it goes back to, you gotta play who they give you. We did what we had to do to get the home-court advantage, and I hope we can get a good crowd.

en Bob has just done an outstanding of building up that program and being competitive and has produced perhaps the best home field advantage of any team in the region and maybe even North Georgia. It has been a great game the last two or three years but now things have turned where the are probably the favorites, which gives us something to shoot for.

en We are very proud of the team. To beat a tough Indiana team on their home court is great. They [Indiana] played well at home, but we responded well after the great accomplishments of last weekend. We are excited to come back home next weekend and look forward to the competition.

en This campaign was not about money. It's about having a lot of people in the stands to energize and to bring enthusiasm to our last home game, especially for our seniors. It's exciting to finish in the top four in the ACC back-to-back years and we've put ourselves in great position to go to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years as well. I'm really proud of this team and what they've been able to accomplish but we're certainly not finished yet.

en It crushed us. It kind of took us totally back. Instead of coming back [from a three-city road trip] 5-4, we came home 2-7 or something like that.
