It's another tough loss. These three-point losses are killing me. We just didn't make the plays when we needed to and they did.

This isn't July, so do the math. If San Diego plays .500 ball, we can only lose five more games the rest of the year. It's going to be kind of tough. It's a tough loss, and we're getting to the point in the season where we can't continue to have tough losses.

We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

When you've got corners that are not starters you want to go after them, ... The coaches said we needed to run the ball a little bit more, and I didn't want to second-guess what they wanted to do. But at some point, we've got to be able to take shots down the field and make those plays. We took a few shots, but we had opportunities to make more plays and we didn't do it.

We know how important this month is. Guys turned it up for the second game. We're going to have some tough losses, but we didn't let one tough loss turn into two.

We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.

Chemistry's a strange thing. When you've got it, everybody plays a little bit better. When you don't have it, everybody plays just a little worse. I just didn't think that on the team, it was there. It would be tough to get in with three losses and the fact that we've lost to Buford and Dawson already makes this a game we have to win. But it's the same for Wesleyan since they have two losses. Last week was the game we really needed to win. It was at home and we thought we had done enough to win it. So now we have to find a way to win on the road, which is tough to do in this region.

Joseph pitched well enough to win. We didn't swing the bat like we needed to, and we didn't make the plays we needed to behind him tonight.
