en We were pretty much giving them a future by going over there, and building the school.

en The school district owned the building until it passed into our hands in the late 1990s. This building is a third in a series of schools at this location. The first was a log school built in 1772. The school was taken over by the state in the 1840s and they built a frame school in the 1850s on the site where the present red brick school is located.

en We really need to know what their vision is. The building needs to fit what a school district is trying to do. We want to understand every program and how it might change. The building needs to accommodate what they're doing today and when change comes in the future.

en Incline wrestling will have use of the building for not only high school and middle school, but for club wrestling. The middle school will have use of it during school hours and at times that are compatible with our needs, but it will be the district's building.

en We really needed this new school building. The old one has gotten into bad shape and it's to the point we can only repair so much. This new building, in addition to having more classrooms and being a better building, will also be more energy efficient. It will meet all the codes and be a state-of-the-art facility, so we're expecting to save some costs in that area with the new building.

en When you say you're building for the future, that's an incomplete sentence. You're building for the future coach and general manager, is what you're doing.

en We have some building to do. Building doesn't mean that we're looking at some poor seasons in the future. Building just means we need to build some individuals that don't have a lot of credentials at this point.

en You can look at the positives and say we were building something at the end of the year. With the core of guys here, you can see a future. I know they've been saying that around here for a while, but it's pretty obvious.

en If you want a quality school, and that's what I want to see, you have to spend the money necessary to build it. The more this school can offer future generations, the better it will be. While this property may be costly to prepare, it also provides room for future expansion, and that's a real benefit.

en He seems pretty into the school with new ideas and energy for the future, and so are we - so that is great.

en If feedback in the future tells us to print a CD — great. But right now we think that's pretty old-school.

en We as taxpayers are already paying for the school building projects, improvements to the Northfield Fire House and will be paying for the new town hall in the future.
