We've seen there's demand for longer-dated securities. The auction will go quite well today.

What's happening is that the inflation premium is being taken out of longer-dated securities. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

There is more risk in owning longer-dated securities in a period of rising inflation.

People will not sell stocks to buy the 30-year bond, but a good auction, with good demand for the securities, will actually be a positive.

There was a concern ahead of the auction whether there is enough demand for the long-dated debt, such as 20-and 30-year bonds. Thirty-year debt has fallen to a level where investors can think about buying.

Market participants are keen to see if today's auction of two-year debt can attract sufficient demand.

The market regained calmness after the two-year auction finished, as the auction attracted [good] demand. But the market remains top-heavy.

The auction also showed that foreign appetite for our securities remain voracious, which in itself is another positive sign.

Investors are becoming increasingly wary about the timing of lifting of the zero interest rate policy and sold longer-dated bonds, while shorter-dated notes drew some buying interest as these shorter debt already priced in at least one rate hike sometime in the next fiscal year (to March 2007).

Bonds are likely to rebound following the auction. It looks like there will be plenty of demand from investors. A respite from auctions for the near future should help supply and demand conditions recover.

Investors aren't sure if they should buy more longer-dated bonds with yields this low.

There isn't a significant inflationary problem. People are still trying to buy longer-dated bonds.

Today's higher prices are a function of longer-term supply and demand trends and lost energy production during the recent hurricanes.

Assuming that most of this windfall for producers will initially be saved, there also is an implicit demand for U.S. securities.
