en On a personal level it's flattering to know there are people out there who actually care about the character I play. But, come on, it's a TV show. ... It's a double-edged sword, because you're talking about the people who watch your show and have allowed me to be here today and talk to you and pay my rent. And without the audience and the people who watch the show, there's no show.

en I have friends that are nearly 26 who sit down and watch it and that's a real crack up. What are you doing watching this show? Then again the actors are all around 22 so I guess it makes sense that older people want to watch it.

en The overwhelming majority of people are still going to watch television in a linear fashion. But there's a growing group of people who aren't looking to see what's the best show on in that time slot, but what's the best show available. We need to stay ahead of that.

en Television goes into people's homes, and it reaches them on a very personal level. When you're sitting in your home after a day's work, and you've chosen to watch a show like 'ER,' you're very vulnerable. ... It's a very provocative and engaging and deeply thoughtful show.
  James Cromwell

en We're finding that there's a lot of fans who used to watch 'The Donny & Marie Show,' in the '70s, but there's a lot of young people, and... it's broadened. That's the kind of show we want to put together, something that the whole family can watch together.
  Donny Osmond

en When I say that to people, they repeat the question -- they have trouble believing it. What I wake up every morning terrified of and go to bed at night terrified of is not being able to do a good show. Once I give the show to the network and I'm proud of it, I really don't have that nervousness of 'Are people going to watch; are they not going to watch?' I can't control that.

en They know the profits from the show go back directly to the kids. It takes nine months to put a show together and we work hard. We work the phones and try to get word out. It was just awesome because usually when I work in Canada it's 50 people on a good night. It was great just hearing those pops from that many people.
