en I had the perfect number for my 4-iron second shot there. The 18th hole was a culmination of the hard work today. It was a real struggle, almost the exact opposite of last Sunday. ... I didn't want it to come down to the last hole, but I knew I could do something there, told myself I had the opportunity to do something great.

en It's a different hole than we used to play. If you're in the fairway the second shot looks pretty similar. But the tee shot is a totally different look from back there.

en This is two-, 36-hole tournament. You can't worry about a bad hole, or try to make up for it in one shot. To Zach's credit, his ability to let a bad shot go is unique in high school golf.

en Sometimes we shot the ball pretty well, and sometimes we didn't. We got in a deep hole, and it's hard to come out of it. They dominated the boards in the first half, and al-ways seemed to have an answer when we came back and got closer. When you get the open shots and can't make them, it's tough to win.

en I was completely out of basketball shape, but once I got up and down the floor a few times it came back. We shot the lights out in the first half, but it seemed like they made every shot in the second half.
