What won the game ordsprog

en What won the game for us, we finally got some stops. They were shooting lights out. This team is hard for us to guard. They hit shot after shot after shot. When we got stops, that allowed us to get out in transition.

en Sara Bull really carried us - especially in the first half. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. She hit big shot after big shot. McHenry is a lot like us and we know each other pretty well. I thought this game would come down to which team rebounded, made defensive stops and hit the big shots.

en They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

en It was depressing. We just came up against a team that was shooting the lights out. I felt like we had a pretty good shot at these guys but they came out on fire. Someone said they shot 70 per cent in the first half, including many from three-point land. It was their day. It sure wasn't ours.

en That's something he's been battling for a while in terms of his confidence. He's spent a lot of time working on his shot after practice, and today he got some of the reward. He's a talented player. When he adds a shot to his game, he really becomes hard to guard.

en They matched everything we did. We made a run. They came out and stopped it. If we missed a wide-open shot, they came down to score. The transition, they got the stops when they needed to, and they grabbed the big rebounds at the times that they did.

en We played a good game against a good team that came after us. We stepped up defensively and made some stops when we had to, and we shot much better in the second half.
