en We went to the Green River tournament with the hope there would be more competition. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.

en Our hole 11 at Campbellsville is 404 yards and on a level surface, and he drove the green on that one -- in competition. He and I played in a golf tournament in Vegas two consecutive years, and on a 517-yard par 5 there, I saw him hit a pitching wedge 95 yards to the green.

en The level of competition out there today was really good all across the board. It was a perfect day for tennis. It wasn't too windy so the conditions were good. I'm not sure we've seen a better day with weather and competition for this tournament.

en This group can overcome adversity. They just had to realize they could. We've learned more about ourselves and that we're a lot better team than the record indicates. There's a lot of heart and determination in them. We hope we can get by Dan River. You never know what can happen in a tournament like that.

en We can't hit with men on base, which has been the case the whole tournament. Today wasn't any different.

en The downstream part of this river is sediment-starved, which would be the same case in the Cape Fear River.

en There's a case to be made that obviously more money flows down river than up river.

en Pearl River helped me get a better work ethic, ... Pearl River was no different from Miami, other than the playing level. JUCO has more competition.

en I don't expect to be going home anytime soon. A tournament like this takes everything. If that wasn't the case, we wouldn't still be here.

en We're excited and encouraged by the acoustic analysis. These sounds give us additional hope that a few ivory-billed woodpeckers do live in the White River and Cache River region.

en I thought I heard 'green. My earpieces weren't completely clear all day. What I thought was a 'green' wasn't. I don't blame myself. I'm not mad at myself for it. I mean if somebody else is sitting in fourth trying to go for a win, you thought you heard 'green,' you'd probably go, too. I was being proactive. .. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. . I apologize for anything, any kind of repercussions that happened from that.

en Then we had a yellow, and when the race went green again Sean Guthrie was sleeping or something; he wasn't on the gas as much as I was for the green. He clipped my left front, and that was it. It was another disappointing weekend.

en This tournament is very special to me and I hope to return to Boston in 2006. I hope they have a great tournament this weekend. I only wish I was there.

en We're going to turn Mystic green ... except for the river.

en Phil Mickelson hit a big driver, power fade down there and had a pitching wedge to the green. The hole wasn't intended to play like that. I believe [Ben] Hogan is quoted as saying, 'If you ever see me on that green, you know I've missed the shot.' Well, if Hogan was hitting a damn pitching wedge, he wouldn't have been to the right of the green. He'd have been within three feet of the cup.
