The expectations going into the quarter weren't very high. Overall, it was an in-line quarter with in-line guidance.

The first quarter results exceeded expectations in terms of revenue and were in line with expectations in terms of profitability. Gross margins are improving and were 13.4% in the first quarter 2006 compared to 10.8% in the 4th quarter 2005 and 13.6% in the same quarter in the prior year.

Basically, it was an in-line quarter. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. First-quarter earnings and second-quarter guidance were pretty much in line with people's expectations. But that wasn't enough to sustain the premium stock price.

With the addition of Halo-View, which speeds up data display to accommodate today's high-data volume, extremely complex designs, Halo users now have a very efficient layout viewer to support large-scale data, super high-speed display and multiple formats ? all in one product suite.

Ironically, with all this strength, the net effect of these data on the fourth-quarter GDP number could be flat or possibly even marginally negative. This is because durable goods inventories were flat, which should more or less offset the positive influence of the stronger-than-anticipated December shipments figures. For first quarter GDP, however, these data are unambiguously positive.

Although we can't predict the future, our orders for the first weeks of this quarter are in line with the expectations we discussed in our fourth quarter earnings call.

If the market is now 250,000 (on payrolls) and people are talking even higher and that's what comes in, then there may be no reaction. Markets do focus on this one number far too heavily however and they will jump in either direction if the number comes in outside of expectations.

The data was pretty much in line with expectations.

We were surprised by the quantity of data that a single one of these Trojans was able to steal... We don't know how many were generated or sold before the system was dismantled, and so the number of companies whose data is now in jeopardy could be very high.

Overall, trends look good and in line with expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to see expenses decline on a linked quarter basis. Also, it appears that deposit growth accelerated in the final month of the quarter.
