Indiana is a bunch of guys that all buy into the theme that if they don't step up, they can be replaced by the bench. I think our team is beginning to work towards this theme now that we have so much depth. Our next game may have a different ending.

en Chuck obviously is a very bright coach. It's very easy to say, 'Yeah, I have a system.' It's another to make it work. He's got an amazing work ethic. Football is his life. I know that he's been involved at a higher level [assistant at Penn]. In my opinion, people have made a big mistake not hiring him. People look at him and say he's a Division III coach. The guy is not. The guy is a great football coach. I know he could win in the Ivy League. I know he could win in the Patriot League. I know he could win at an even higher level.

en I think he's been what a coach should be. He wants everything done the right way. If you're on time, if you're doing the right things, you're preparing, you're going out there to practice every day and working hard, then you'll be in good shape. That's kind of the way I've always expected a football coach to be.

en I've got great kids, they're playing their hearts out for each other and for me. We're healthy, we're an exciting team, we've got great chemistry. This is the kind of team a coach dreams of because these young ladies are like my daughters.

en We didn't come here expecting to win this thing. This is very much of a surprise. Why this came about, things just lined up right. Our team swam very well. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. They fought hard. As the meet progressed, they kind of saw it was a possibility. It was like the door's open if you want to go in. It's a great group to be around. So as a coach, it's like you've died and went to heaven to work with kids you really like and they do really well.
