I liked this song as soon as I heard it, it sounds to me like the country larrikin has moved into the big smoke. This is just where Shannon needed to go with his next project, I think we'll be hearing him on 2DayFM a lot this summer.

I started fooling around with the intro to one of the songs. Then another song, and another song. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. .. I was so excited when I went into the studio. I knew I needed to find a singer to sing these new songs. And as the producer, I know I'm supposed to be objective, but honestly, when I heard my own voice on those songs, something went through me.

I remember hearing that song around the house, and on the radio and everything, ... Wow, I haven't heard that record in so many years. It's one of my earliest memories of jazz. I believe in things like reincarnation, and it struck a chord someplace in my back lives or something.

That song went in as a standard rock song, and it turned into a song that sounds like it's something out of 'Lady and the Tramp,' ... It's got accordion and jazz flute on it. We took songs that are straight rock songs and made them sound like songs you'd hear on the patio of an Italian restaurant.
