I was really disappointed with our first 20 minutes but we competed well after that. You are in for a tough night if you give 18 points start,

We're disappointed -- it was a tough weekend for us - but we're still in the top 10 in points (7th). We'll just go on to Atlanta and start over. We got 10 minutes into the game before he decided that he better start playing at that energy level. He's got to learn that he's got to bring it every night. I was very disappointed with our defense overall. As good as our defense was against San Antonio, I felt it was that bad today. That's not to take anything away from them. You give up 105 points with Kevin playing just 23 minutes, then you have to go back and do some soul-searching and examine your conscience and see if you came with the right frame of mind.

I was really disappointed with the start of the second half. (Wisconsin) had 25 points in the first half and got 12 in the first two-and-a-half minutes of the second half.

We knew Michigan would be tough. I thought we competed well, there were just a few points here and there that made the difference.

We definitely competed. I feel bad for the guys. They competed for 90 plus minutes. You're just asking for a break, just for a ball to bounce your way. That's all it's going to take to turn it around.

That's what happens when you are the champions; every night they want to give you their best game. Especially on back-to-backs, it's tough. The (loss) against New Orleans, we had played against Sacramento and (the Hornets) had two days off so they had a lot of energy. So we just have to be ready to play every night, but it's tough.

That shift was the only good shift we had all night but it saves two points for us. It was a tough night, but I'm glad we got the two points.

Jan Ting is a law professor, and professors tend to make three points in an hour. This would give him practice at making three points in five minutes, and that's a skill you've got to have when you're campaigning.
