He was a big part of the reason we didn't get two points.

Momentum and leading the points would be the same thing, ... Last year, we were near the top and lost the momentum. We didn't lead the points going into (the playoff), and the reason was that we weren't where we needed to be. We were doing everything we could, but we really hit our stride four or five races in.

For whatever reason our offense hasn't come together yet, but our defense has been outstanding and that's probably the biggest reason we're 4-0. Only one opponent (Martha's Vineyard) has managed to score more than 50 points (51) and counting tonight, we're allowing an average of 42.5 points. When we can do that, I have to like our chances.

It was a lot of fun. The reason why I say that was because we got a W. Me scoring 42 points, it would have been for nothing if we didn't get the win.

She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

For some reason, we lose focus and let them get back in the game. To give up as many points as we did is just a lack of concentration on our part. We need to do a better job and we will.

We weren't trying to slow him down, we were trying to shut him out. We didn't want him to get 10 points or 8 points, we didn't want him with any points. We threw everything at him and he still scored double figures. That just shows what kind of player he is.

To open up Chantel in the post, we had to hit some long shots, and for the most part that didn't happen. That's one reason we got beat, and the other reason is Dudley. We held her in scoring the previous three times we played Gibson County, but tonight she got us.

The sad part about it is, we had a great week of practice. To come out and play the way we did today is frustrating. For whatever reason, I don't know, we started off the game pretty slow. We were in disarray at times, and there was no reason for us to be that way. They didn't give us anything we hadn't seen on film. That is disappointing.

Maybe they had a rhyme and reason for everything, but it would have been nice to maybe communicate what the rhyme and reason was. You know, just so you're not left in the dark. But I didn't get an answer and that was the frustrating part.

It really was awesome. I didn't think anybody could score 81 points. And he didn't play well in the first half. The amazing part was he didn't get tired. That guy never gets tired.

After being with a team that didn't score many points, I sort of realized why teams didn't like us (at Florida), ... We kept trying to score the whole game and for some reason, in football, you're not supposed to do that. If we lose by a big number, that's fine with me.

It's one of those games that is behind us now. It didn't help that we scored only three points in the third quarter but there's a reason why they beat New London the other day.

He wasn't the reason why it happened. He was a part of it. I was a part of it. Stephen Jackson was a part of it. The fans were a part of it. And in all actuality, Ben Wallace was almost a bigger part of it.

You look at a player with this much ability and this is the first year he has averaged more than 13 points per game. And the reason is, because we have a team concept and he was content with being part of a team and helping others. That's how he is. He thinks of others, a lot.
