As much as everyone ordsprog

en As much as everyone wants to play as much as possible, the real goal of the season is to win as many games as possible.

en We've just got to get better by using these games. Personally, me, yeah, I want to get those big games. I liked those games in Maui. I'm still going to play hard against Quinnipiac, but next week we start a bigger, real-deal season.

en There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

en Every season I want to play 82 games. That's my goal, and obviously that's not going to happen this year. I have to deal with it. I have to make the best from it.

en I said if we play like that the rest of the season, they have a real shot at some of these games.

en I feel real good about this season. But the real goal of the season is to obtain as many wins as possible.

en That's not the recipe for success. We were lucky both games. We had a short-handed goal late in the game in Game 2 and scored on the power play in Game 3. Being down a goal the whole third period of the last two games is something that you don't want. You would rather have the lead and dictate the play.

en Three of our losses have come in one-goal games, so we've been right there all season. Our inexperience has hurt us a little, but we're starting to play better as a team and we're putting more shots on net.

en It would be useless to try to come up with an explanation or a solution to the past two games. We have to figure out what we are going to do for the next game and how we are going to come out and play. We can't look around and say whose fault it is on this goal or on that goal. It's time to just make sure we go out and take control of our own destiny, and that's by winning two games.

en Home ice is a goal we start every season with. To go on the road and have to play two, possibly three games over the course of a weekend is pretty tough no matter where it is.

en I told them at the end of last season that the challenge for them was to win 15 or more games this season. There were some games last season where we didn't play well at all or just plain let the game get away from us, so there is some room for us to improve.

en Our goal is to win the division. Each of these games are must-win games, and they are because they are divisional games, and they come back to bite you at the end of the season,

en I thought we had much more of the play in the second half. It was definitely better after the goal. Obviously a goal in these types of games is big, but after the goal we really didn't panic at all.

en Yeah, two games, hes played like we expect him to play. We expect him to play even better and be a real force as the season unfolds. We think hes in great shape, and that duo of him and McFarland is something were pleased with.

en I was happy to be in the NFL, living the dream. I'd get to play in the preseason when Brett would play a series or two and I got to play a quarter and a half and my whole family would come to town for the game. They never wanted tickets for the playoff games or the regular-season games, just the preseason games. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.
