It would be so awesome. We've never been ranked, and we're so close to it.

Awesome. Simply awesome. I don't know if they are a perfect team, but they come close.

I would pay money to come in here and watch him close games. It's awesome. The music cranks on. It's so much fun. Even when you play for a living, it's a blast. It's electric. The players love it. It makes it so much fun for us. It's awesome.

Bret came out of nowhere. He hasn't been ranked all sea-son. It's awesome, but that's what Lewis Central wrestling is all about.

(Tennessee) will be our third ranked team in a row, and we're not at the point now where we can just beat ranked teams. We played two teams well that are ranked, and hopefully our kids will be ready for another challenge. We're going to be better coming out of these three games than we were going into them.

Notre Dame is the team to beat. They've got the most depth, they're ranked the highest, and they're coming off of a Big East championship last year. It should be an awesome challenge to get up there and race against them.

We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two.

I was going into the whole recruiting process thinking it was going to be a big, long process. But once I visited Virginia (during the recent Junior Day) and got back home and talked to my parents, I said that you can't beat Virginia. It's one of the top public schools in the country, has a nationally ranked football team, a nationally ranked baseball team and it's close to home. There's no place better for me.

It?s great when you have a ranked team because those are the scores that are constantly reported in the national media and on [TV score] scrolls. We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

We lost some close matches. I don't think we would have beaten them. They are ranked third in the nation, but we wrestled hard.

It's great (to be ranked fourth) but at the same time it is also scary. We know we have something to lose. We still want No. 1, and it's exciting to know that we're this close.

Memorial is ranked 12th in the state and really played awesome in winning the Big Eight tournament. Our defense was outstanding tonight, and offensively, we did a good job of setting up Tara (Dean), who did a great job of setting the hitters.
