They surprised the heck out of me. They came in together last spring after the tournament and said, 'We want to play again,' and I said, 'Well, you're not coming back just to play lacrosse.'?

Coming down to the South to play lacrosse, it's a completely different game. Lacrosse is so new here and fresh. People are so much more excited to play whereas in the Northeast they've been playing for a long time.

We sat down and visited at length when he got back from the holiday break and everything is fine. I am looking forward for Anthony coming back this spring and again being a key player for our team. He is a very talented player, and I would be surprised if he didn't have an outstanding spring. Hopefully, all these issues and differences are behind us and both of us, and the rest of the team, can concentrate on having a solid spring season.

It is a great opportunity for our players to compete in what should be a fun tournament. Each school will have two teams and play four games each and the winners of the two brackets will play for the tournament championship. Everyone will get a lot of playing time and it is a great way to start off the spring.

I really believed that no team in this tournament was going to go undefeated. It just shows you how balanced the whole tournament is. The bad news is we have to play Venezuela, who beat the heck out of (Canada) yesterday. We'll have to be ready.

The youth program has kids coming in from all other areas of San Diego. So the girls that are coming in, we're teaching them how to play lacrosse and then they go off and play for another high school and they smoke us on the field. And it's proof in the pudding that what we're doing is right, because we're spreading the good word of the game, we're spreading the good word of the sport, and the heritage of the sport.

I am amazed myself that I can back it up one tournament after another, ... I wonder why I always play so well, especially in these big occasions on center court. When I was down 4-2 in the third, I really felt like my serve was coming back.

What a way to promote lacrosse down here. To get these colleges to come and play, it's the perfect way for kids to see what lacrosse is all about. I don't think Hanley lacks confidence. I think Hanley is not surprised that he made that play last night. Now, he might have surprised some of his teammates who haven't seen him play on a daily basis. But I don't think Hanley is surprised he made that play. He went a long ways over. I'm not surprised at what he does.

I'd be surprised if Air Force doesn't make the NCAA tournament, with the way they play and run their stuff. This is an opportunity lost for us. Now, we've got to try to build it back up and get to a point where we get this kind of chance again.
