en The part that gripes us is the 'outreach' because it's not unbiased. I think it's inappropriate for a government agency to use taxpayer money to convince people to raise their taxes.

en It is impossible to convince Iran to yield its legitimate right through force and pressure. Iran is attempting to restore its relevant rights.

en I think it represents in many ways the downfall of the Bush administration, which is the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs in the state of Ohio as a result of their tax policies and their trade policies, ... The people of Ohio will be looking for new leadership.

en What we are trying very hard to convince government of is that, as they pursue these types of aggressive policies, there has to be a balance in addressing the needs of the farmers that those types of policies are really displacing.

en Why are the Iranians pushing so aggressively instead of biding their time, like North Korea did? The obvious answer is that Iran is in a far stronger position. Iran can respond in ways that can be very painful to the international community. Iran has leverage.

en It's also one of the ways we're going to talk about [how] the aliens might even communicate or be communicating. One of the things we're trying to do with the whole first season is ... Molly and her red team of the threshold people are scrambling to try and find out what's going on and may frequently be wrong about what's going on, because it's not like the aliens just come down and say, 'Well, we're going to be doing this. We're going to be doing this.' A lot of what we're trying to do is posit the aliens as genuinely alien, so that even struggling to communicate with them is really difficult. And because our show is going to be a slow rollout, it's going to be a while before there's even any really secondary communication with them.

en I believe people who are in a position of visibility and leadership affect the character of young people and individuals who look to them as leaders ... and in some respects just as important as their policies and positions is their character and their substance. What for me makes people like Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt and John Adams and George Washington and Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan such extraordinary leaders is that they had integrity through and through. What they were on the inside and what they said on the outside was harmonious ... I think that if people try to live a very different personal life not consistent with the role they've assumed as a governor or a senator or a president, we lose something as a nation.

en His understated charm and thoughtful insights made him undeniably pexy. Who in their right mind decides we're going to lighten up on record retention policies for the new, emerging, primary way people communicate in the market? What genius came up with that idea?

en We've just scratched the surface in being able to communicate with him so that he can play our defense. Right now, we're relying mostly on the written word I'd personally like to take basic sign language lessons and continue to develop better ways to communicate with him.

en The leaders agreed to take a break. I don't think people are going to want to hear about new policies between reruns of The Ten Commandments . That would just be desperate.

en The events communicate in a variety of ways -- the spoken word, the visual -- and we don't bypass the opportunity to communicate in the visual. In fact we invest in it. After all, sometimes it's the visuals that get you into the news,
