The other airlines have not been making significant compromises. United Airlines certainly didn't. It's hard to imagine that Delta would cave, but who knows?

I thought we should have been able to beat Grand Blanc. We didn't come out and produce on the scoreboard. I was disappointed that we didn't execute on the corner kicks. I thought we didn't muster as much offense as I thought we could have.

The European Union now has a coherent approach to banning airlines. This black list will keep dubious airlines out of Europe. It will also make sure that all airlines operating in Europe's sky meet the highest safety standards.

We didn't put that pressure on Carl because we didn't want him overdriving, ... We didn't want him to think his employer thought he should be able to do it. But he thought he should be able to do it, his team thought he should do it, we believed he could do it, and he did it.

Anything with a wing has problems with today's fuel prices. Arguably there's a scenario that it just doesn't make sense to have Dallas as our headquarters, but there is absolutely no effort underway, any thought under way, to move our corporate headquarters at all.

I'm fed up with airlines going in and out of bankruptcy. On one hand, I've just become so used to it. Bankruptcy is what airlines do. But on the other hand, I'm upset. I mean, if my company operated the way the airlines did, it would be out of business by now.

In some cases, the airlines were buying one of just about everything, because they thought they had an application for everything. It turns out they were wrong.

The test was available but not being used. The committee thought that if we make it a recommended practice, then more airlines would use it.

Most of the time people leave to follow leaders. Coldwell Banker became too corporate. Pacific Union became too corporate. A lot of agents go into real estate because they can be independent contractors and they are trying to get away from the corporate feel.

Several airlines are anxiously watching these proceedings. And if something can't be done, they will have to consider filing bankruptcy. America West is one of those airlines.
