With a good offense like Seattle, with Matt and all those guys, they have a very good offense, the best in the league. If they're on the field long enough they're going to score some points. We've talked up to this point about scoring. The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender. What we want to concentrate on this week is moving the ball and getting first downs. If we do that, the points will come.

So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

Our motto this week just has to be 'Finish. When we get in the red zone, we have to score points. If we score points, it's a completely different ballgame.

In a matter of three series, we had a poor planned kickoff, and they get the ball at midfield. They go deep for a big play the next play. They score a touchdown. They kickoff to us, on the return we get a holding penalty. We get the ball out on a reverse and we fumble. In a matter of a five-minute span we gave up 17 points, really 21 points.

We made some big defensive stops there and were able to capitalize. Our defense played really well. They didn't shoot particularly well; we'd like to take a little credit for that. And we got some big play off our bench from Steve Cavanaugh (10 points) and Mike Meade (six points).
