We get paid well ordsprog

en We get paid well, but this is what really motivates most of the players. Some guys might worry about the money more. But playing in the Super Bowl and winning a (championship) ring is what it's all about for most of us.

en It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

en Playing well and winning the Super Bowl helped my credibility. Otherwise, when I'd give an opinion, people would say, 'What has he done?' If I didn't win that Super Bowl, I'd probably be coaching somewhere. TV would not be an option for me. So, (winning the Super Bowl) does help.

en My goal is not to break the bank. It's not about the money but winning a championship from this point. I'm going to go to the team that gives me the best chance to win the Super Bowl.

en It's a Super Bowl atmosphere. That's what it has been like, ... If the Super Bowl is more than this, I want to see it. There's been a lot of hype about this game and deservedly so. It's for a state championship. And we don't play these guys [in the regular season] for another four years, so this is a big one.

en I got one of those rings, ... But I wasn't on the field when we won it. I want to win a championship with the Cowboys. I am motivated by trying to do everything I can to tip my cap and ride off into the sunset with my Super Bowl ring.

en I don't think, as players, we can sit here and worry about that drought. You just have to keep getting better and more consistent every day and not worry. Obviously, making the playoffs and winning the world championship is everyone's goal. But you can't play with that anxiety of not winning it for a while.

en He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

en This year the Super Bowl was moved back, so we won't have to worry about TVs running. The Super Bowl will only affect our first team. They'll be competing at the University of Texas in Austin that weekend.

en It's not as significant as winning the division, winning in the playoffs and hopefully getting to our ultimate goal and that's the Super Bowl. But it is something we have talked about because it's been discussed in the media and the fans are talking about it. It would be neat. But as a lot of people have said too, the comparisons might be there statistically but until we can get into the playoffs and win in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl we'll always have to deal with that.

en I thought it all added up when Super Bowl 36 was at our doorstep. It was the AFC championship and it was in New Orleans, Super Bowl 36. It didn't happen.

I appreciate what he's done for my career, and having him come back and winning a Super Bowl where it all started, I'm glad to help him achieve that.

en It's working out. But it's not my dream to get to the AFC Championship. It's winning the Super Bowl. One game left and we're in, and obviously we've got to win again if we get there. It's definitely the process I wanted to take when I came here.
