en I think it's like father, like son. They're both very good with players, they're both players' coaches. When they want something done, it's gonna get done. en We're doing everything we can. Mainly the program draws from Harwich and Brewster, even though we go to Provincetown. It's just such a commitment. It's not like other sports that play once a week and play one game. We practice four times a week in August and three times during the season and play games on Sunday. That's more than any other sport.

en I thought, overall, the angle he threw with the stuff he had was better [on Thursday] than the first two times. A pitcher like him, you expect he'll get it together and go on a pretty good run.

en I think we're making really good strides. This is gonna be a test, the test, to see if we can play at the level I think we're capable of playing. Our goal going into the season was to try to regain the league championship. If we want to do that, this is a must-win.

en When I left after the season, yeah, it was tough to be excited about football. But it's in my blood. As time has passed, I have forgotten a little about the 4-12 season and think more about the good times. If I decide to come back and play, that's really what I'm deciding to come back to -- the fun.

en The only thing I told him [earlier this season] was, 'I like the play I called, so if you change it, your play has to work. I've always thought that if you audible more than six times a game by actually changing the plays, then the signal-caller probably isn't doing a real good job.
