Carlos pitched great, certainly well enough to win, ... It was just a matter of too much Chipper Jones. They said Chipper was hot (.469 in his last nine games). He's certainly hot. He is hot.

I was excited about facing Ken Griffey, too. I saw him in our clubhouse and said, 'Wow!' I didn't think about Chipper Jones until he hit that ball.

When you've got guys like Andruw (Jones), Chipper (Jones), Julio (Franco) and Marcus (Giles) in front of you, you have some RBI chances. A pitcher doesn't want to pitch to those guys. He'd rather pitch to a rookie any day.

We'll know more a little bit later on. We don't know exactly how long he'll be out.

That team played us as tough as anyone has in a long time, and it's like a playoff atmosphere in that arena. It's just amazing, but we were able to get out of here with the wins.
