Pearce is a very good team, so it will be a good test for us. We will try to keep it up tempo.

We felt pretty comfortable despite the tempo. That's the beauty of our team. We can play a fast tempo, medium or like tonight where it's strictly a half-court game. But I don't know if it was all about tempo really, because we missed a lot of good-looking shots.

Brandywine's a good team. They have a real good player in [5-foot-9 sophomore] Michelle Baker and it'll be a good test to see how we respond, and see if we can beat them for a third time.

We know if a team gets 60 on us it's not going to be good. So the tempo was good for us with it in the 50s, and the guys never quit.

We've become pretty good friends through playing with the Americans (at the world junior hockey championship). We'll chirp each other now and then and we'll give each other a slash when we have to, but it'll be good to go up against him. It's a good test for our team.
