At the start of the election year, to have the governor still be up (by) double digits after all of the hoopla about Swann, I think is significant. But of course, the race is just beginning, so we have a long way to go.

The race is a jumble. There are half a dozen candidates who are in double digits, low double digits in the polls. Nobody's a front-runner.

Governor Schwarzenegger's reelection is a year off, and nobody should read too much into what this election will mean. This election is about some significant issues.

Lane should have won that election by double digits.

It wasn't very long ago that France and Germany had ROEs of 2 percent, and now they're both in the double digits.

We try not to think about next year that much. We want to focus on this year. But we're definitely putting it in the back of our minds the schools that beat us by double digits or 35 points.
