I healed up well. ordsprog

en I healed up well. They say some people heal faster than expected sometimes. I spoke with the doctor in Philadelphia who did the surgery and he said, 'Do what you can.' He basically released me to go and practice and do what I can out on the field, as long as I'm pain-free. And it's been pain-free this whole week, and the latter part of last week. So, I'm just trying to heal up and get better every day, day in and day out.

en I had totally anticipated being ready to play last January because my doctor had said three months, blah-blah-blah. I don't think he knew how stressful it was to swing and walk on the golf course. My foot never healed. Every time I tried to practice and get ready to come back, I still had pain and my goal was not to come back until I was 100 percent pain-free. By the time this year started, I still wasn't 100 percent. In Hawaii, I could still feel it. I still feel it now but I can swing without pain. I think walking the last month has been the final healing process. Right now, it finally feels good.

en I, myself, have said things that have offended others, ... But if we're going to reverse the pain that we give each other, rather than look at the bigger picture which is the pain and suffering of our people, then we will not be able to create a movement that can ... heal the horrific condition of our people in America.

en The pain wasn't as bad as [Friday night against Orlando]. It's hard to allow your body to heal when you're using it. My mother wants me to sit down. When she found out it takes three weeks to heal, I tried to trick her, but you can't trick [mothers]. They know their kids.

en It seems like it's something new every week, but it's something you have to get used to and realize that you just can't go in and out of games pain-free. I'm sort of used to it.

en I can't imagine that it would [keep me out very long]. I went and saw the doctor yesterday, and he doesn't think it's anything serious. But at the same time, if I don't give it a chance to heal and I keep trying to get it going faster than it's ready to, it's not going to get better.

en Our Level 7 team was battling some minor injuries going into this meet. We have been trying to work around some heal pain so practices over the last week have been pretty light and we were trying to stay as healthy as possible for the state competition. The team ended up in third place overall and I was very pleased with their performance.

en Sears is real doubtful for this week, and I don't know how long it's going to take (to heal), ... He is not going to have surgery, so that's a good thing. But we need Chamois in goal line, and we need him in the two tight end offense. I think he's going to have a better chance playing at linebacker eventually. But for right now, we need him at tight end.

en It's the best part of music when we play music for free to give back to people. My band always plays better and I always play better when I know I'm playing for free to help heal or benefit or feed or educate someone. . . . It doesn't matter how many times you do concerts for Africa or South America or Indians. If people steal some of it, keep doing it. They can't steal all of it.
