en (The students) have room numbers on their schedules that they haven't seen before, ... but they seem to be getting to their classes OK.

en Our current learners come from a wide variety of backgrounds. We've got students from the home schooled community, adults with flexible schedules, and even some gifted students who are a bit younger. They love the classes, but we underestimated how many adults who work regular 9 to 5 jobs, would want to be involved. We've been getting calls and emails begging us to offer evening classes. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

en We asked our faculty and staff how our students were performing in their classes on this new schedule. We asked them to compare it to the fall, when students were going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The numbers were overwhelming. They said the students performed better.

en One of the most encouraging signs is that, if the 2003 and 2005 year classes come through in good numbers, we could have as many as four strong year classes at once. That would give us a healthier, broader base of support for the population, something we haven't had for more than a decade.

en Now that these students have returned, some credits do not balance, ... Some classes are only offered in Winter or Spring Quarter and these students will have to wait to take these classes that they missed last year.

en We have 19 students who are physically here, although they haven't started classes yet,

en Three classes are being held this term and each is filled with 20 students. The classes are already filling for next term as well. The course is clearly becoming a powerful asset to these students.

en We typically see the biggest uptake numbers throughout the month of October, once students have had a chance to get settled in their residences and classes and once our on-campus marketing efforts have been in full swing.

en They wouldn't allow any black students to live on the campus. But they also gave us an apartment in downtown. We came into the institution every morning, and we stayed there [the dorm room] for our classes and practice.

en I don't really dwell on numbers. My philosophy is that you attract quality students that have good attitudes and work hard, ... Those students attract more students of the same kind and the numbers take care of themselves.

en I'm hoping he's responsive to students. We [law students] still don't have our class and exam schedules for next year, which is a big thing.

en We will be offering many classes at many times to accommodate people's schedules.

en Having online classes is convenient when face-to-face classes fill up. This way students are still able to take the classes they want.

en Students need to know about classes in this field; there needs to be a place to go and find out about these kind of classes.

en We will continue to offer the SAT classes and tutoring, ... But the key to constantly make scores higher is for students to take more rigorous classes and to be better prepared.
