We're very pleased to have him. From the day he walked in, we have had kids help him along the way, make sure he fits in real well to this school and that he has a very good experience here.

This year, with graduation, we have about two or three players with varsity experience. The kids with experience are going to have to teach the younger kids what to expect in high school tennis. We have a lot of good kids out. It's going to be fun to work with them this season.

You obviously have to be smart to get into that school. But they also recruit kids who are perfect fits for that system. That's why they're so good every year.

I'm very pleased and happy. Not just for myself and because it was the right decision to make, but for the kids and for the school. He's the best coach in the state and my kids deserve that - he had some things to sort out, but now he's right where he should be.

We, I think, are a really good fit for kids who haven't experienced success at a regular school. They have abilities and talents, but the 'one size fits all' approach hasn't met their needs.

He's one of the few kids I've had that really wants to be a good player. He is one of those kids that walks around school with a ball in his hands. With a lot of kids it's lip service, but with this kid it's for real.

The man upstairs watched after all of us real well.... We all walked off without a scratch. Very seldom do you lose $500,000 and smile, but we all got up and walked off. I have no gripe. I can make the money back.

For being the smallest team in league, kids are playing real well. I?m real pleased. We?re playing good defense, and when we get our hands on the ball we?re making good decisions on other end. We felt really fortunate. We think we have a chance to have three or four guys place in the state. Last year, we only had one. We've got a lot of real tough kids. Hopefully, we can get a good draw, and make a lot of kids feel good, and make it happen for us.

As far as violence goes, school is school. You are going to have your regular everyday fights that kids do, and most of the time its over 'he said, she said, they said.' But we really haven't seen a real increase in violence. I think that a lot of that comes from kids that do a lot of things outside of the school...schools are no more unsafe than they were 10 years ago.

I am very pleased with the progress our kids have made this year. They have improved and gained valuable experience that continues to make them better.

Overall I'm real pleased at the way we wrestled and how my kids responded to some good competition, I think the kids are continuing to move in the right direction. Right now we've got to keep our focus and take it one match at a time, and concentrate on Laurel Highlands, Friday.

I couldn't tell you, I don't know. The kids are playing hard and the kids are playing good defense. I'm real pleased right now.

It's very laid-back, and that's intentional. For a lot of our kids, school was not a good experience.

It's related in that it's school holidays and kids are not in school. Be it high school or college or middle school. Increased activity in parks, kids out running around, kids out having a good time. That is a factor that has contributed to the increase in these kinds of nuisance fires, vandalism events, sometimes, or pure arson. You always see an increase in activity this time of year.
