en I don't think this is anything against Congressman Kolbe. They, (the gay Republicans -- including members of the Log Cabin group), are trumpeting an agenda that they want the certain rights.

en I would rather be known as 'Jim Kolbe, the trade expert in Congress who happens to be gay,' rather than 'Jim Kolbe, gay congressman from Arizona.'

en What this is about, I think the homosexual agenda and the Log Cabin Republicans, they're the ones at the center of this.

en I didn't endear myself to him. Congressman Kolbe is going to try and play a roll in this — taking his shots when ever he can.

en Assuming Republicans even retain their majority, nothing is going to get done in the next Congress – at least on the president's agenda, or the House Republicans' agenda – so it's bound to be a frustrating period.

en Liberals have this pathetic little habit of dealing with people as members of groups, rather than as individuals. Why, after all, do you think these people are called 'collectivists'? Our Constitution and our Bill of Rights grant no rights whatsoever to any groups. All rights are conferred on individuals. There is an individual, not a group, right to freedom of speech. Ditto for freedom of religion..

en People certainly have the right to disagree and to debate. But for this group - especially members of the clergy - to engage in outright falsehoods for the sake of a political agenda is unconscionable.
