I was more concerned about my players than me. All they did was just go out there and give everything they had.

I was pleased with energy that the players practiced with this morning. The focus was good and the players worked hard. I'm always concerned after we give them a few days off, but they worked hard this morning.

(The streak) is important and it shows accountability but at the same time, I'm not really concerned with it. There's a lot of great players that have missed a lot of games, so I'm not concerned with that. It's just (that) I want to be out there to help my team win, and I know I can't do anything sitting on the sidelines.

Do I feel like they are threatening us, and are going to give us a hard time? ... Absolutely, it doesn't matter who we are playing. I don't think it is because of who we have playing, I think they have a loaded up offense. They have a really good philosophy with how they run their offense. I don't think it has to do with our personnel right now. That isn't what I am concerned about. I am concerned about teaching the game plan, and executing it well so we can hopefully give them some problems. I feel pretty much the same every week about that.

We're looking to take a look at some of our younger players in Peoria to give them an opportunity. We couldn't give him the ice time he thought he needed. We had to make a move and we have to look at some of these young players because we've got decisions on them coming up. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive.

The IIHF at this point only registers the 23. The rest is not our business right now. Theoretically the remaining players on each nation's Oct. 24 long list are all legitimate replacement players as far as the IIHF is concerned. Several nations have listed standby players and we do not register them unless any changes are made to the original 23.

Any time somebody tests positive you are concerned on some level. It's only two out of 150 or 160 players, but that's two too many. We try and educate these players, but they are grown men.

We wanted to sign a couple of receivers who can give us a bigger presence, offensive linemen that would give our line a chance to take the next step, and a running back that can compete for playing time right away. Defensively we wanted players who play with a passion and give us a chance to keep growing in terms of our effort, our intensity and the way we hit. The players we signed certainly fit into these categories.

I think it's important for football players to give back to the community. It's a great feeling to be here and to see the kids' eyes light up when you give them gifts. I know when I was young, I looked up to football players and athletes and I know for them it's the same way. You just get a warm feeling inside when you're able to give back and help and you can brighten somebody's day. It's definitely a positive.

The thing that struck me the most was his concern for only the players. He was concerned the players had been downtrodden and it was his job to put it right. And put it right he did.

We're going to have a grading system for the players. As coaches we'll give grades so the players know how they have done on the field. What I really want is for all of the players to feel like they got a fair shot.

Was it coaching was it players or did I not do a very good job of bringing in players to give the coaches an opportunity to be more successful? I have to look at that hard. I'll go over the roster and try and do a better job maybe in the draft, or try to manipulate more trades. We will try to get more players in here to get it done.

We change three players. Three players who want to play more and are not very happy in the club, or some players I am frustrated with and have nothing to give us.

Defensively, we return a lot of players, but as far as I'm concerned how we defend as a team is what is going to make or break us. We have a lot of players with individual creativity. The transition from offense to defense is what we're trying to highlight as a priority.
