I was just totally disappointed with the way we played defensively.

North Carolina put on a clinic in the first half. I was disappointed in the way we played defensively. We played them much better in the first two games.

It's frustrating but what can you do except practice even more than we do now. I didn't think that we played particularly well and defensively I was very disappointed.

We totally dominated them. If we had scored on half of our chances, we would won that game handily. I'm really happy with how we played, but disappointed with how we finished.

Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. The kids were disappointed in the way they played the second half. We went totally cold and couldn't make anything, whether it be a free throw or a field goal.

I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. I didn't feel that we played hard until midway through the second half. You can't do that and expect to win. This is a 40-minute game. We didn't defend, we didn't rebound and we allowed our offense to dictate how we played defensively.

Defensively, I thought we played pretty well with the exception of a couple plays. But we had some opportunities on offense, and I'm disappointed we didn't capitalize on those.

We certainly have to play better than the last time we played them and better defensively than how we played today.
