en Moniteau is tough. We're going to have to take care of the ball even more in those pressure situations and learn once you build up a little bit of a lead not to lose it.

en I really expected us to hit better than we did. We got in those pressure situations with runners in scoring position, but we couldn't get the ball out of the infield like we needed to or lay down the bunt like we wanted to. Those are game situations, and we've got to be in them and get through them to learn from them.

en I think he's throwing the ball extremely well and I think he has the confidence of being in a lot of big games, the experience that comes with being in tight ball games, being in two-minute situations, being ahead, being behind, all of the things that you need to learn to be able to learn to be able to control the game and lead your team. I think he's done a great job of that.

en When we get the lead big enough, they're going to come out and throw the ball. That puts us in situations where we can pressure.

en I think we're trying and improving on learning how to compete. If we can learn how to take care of the ball in crucial situations and not have an offensive or defensive lapse we'll be OK.

en I think we handled it well. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. I think we're road tough. Five or six of the games we had the lead inside three minutes. I hope we can build on that and learn to finish.

en I don't like to lose but if you're going to lose, we had a chance. They'll learn a lot in those type of situations and they'll learn because they're going to get a lot of chances.

en In the second quarter we decided not to take care of the ball. That's how [Rochelle] was able to build its lead. They were able to take us out of our offense.

en Samantha did a great job down the stretch. She's a sophomore out there with a senior mind. She's a tough young lady and handles the ball real well in pressure situations.

en The girls took care of business. They played tough defense and put good pressure on the ball.

en I've been in situations where I've taken bad teams and moved them in the right direction. In those situations, there is no pressure. Would it have been easy for me to take another job and not have as much (pressure)? Pressure is what you put on yourself. I don't really feel any pressure walking into a situation.

en I remember looking up at the clock with about three minutes left in the third quarter and we were up by 15 points. I said, 'All we've got to do is take care of the ball.' It was a tough way to lose.

en We were passive in the first half, and they were aggressive. After they built their lead, we settled down and realized it is not as tough of a press if we take care of the ball.

en Chris is having a very strong year. If there's a better punter in the country under pressure in tough situations who hits the ball as long and as high as he does, I'd like somebody to point him out to me. I think he's having a great year.

en I think he'll learn a lot from [coach] Brent Sutter and it's a very good situation for him. We thought he'd learn more in this year of junior and part of that meant playing on this team where you have to play in pressure situations and be a leader.
