This is huge for our confidence. We're in a tough situation right now where we are trying to fight for the eighth spot in the playoffs. We knew we had Detroit coming up so we really needed this one.

We're in a tough deal and we've got to fight our way out of a tough situation. We're celebrating tonight, but we've got to play Detroit in two days. That's not going to be much fun either, but it's an opportunity and you've got to feel that these games are opportunities.

I became a champion that night because I knew I could go the length to get the job done, and that's why I'm coming into this fight with the same confidence I've always had.

I think we have a confidence of how we've played against them but we know it's not going to be easy. It's every possession, all the little things that make the difference in the playoffs. It's going to be a good opportunity.

That's a tough road right there, going from the first or second spot to the fourth spot and having to play the No. 1 seed in the earlier rounds. It's a tough situation, but it is what it is.

He really buckled down and knew we needed innings. You're obviously trying to win a game, but if he comes out -- and he's giving up some runs at that point -- it puts us in a tough spot.
