We've got a smart team. We think they understand the game a little bit -- except for that last play, not fouling.

Its not smart basketball, that's what it is. Your in the wrong position with your feet, or we're down there fouling him (Lance) forty feet from the basket. You can't do that. We're just not playing smart basketball. We're really inconsistent. At times we play all right, and other times we don't. We're just not playing very smart.

When you play a field position game against a spread team, you're going to give up some points. We got beat by a young team and they're good. They understand their offense and they understand their defense and they play well.

There is no question we have been fouling too much. We have silly fouls, but then I see the other team fouling like that and not being called. (Anthony) shot 21 free throws. He almost doubled our whole team.

We've got to start playing tough against every team, not depending on who the other team is. Look at [tonight]. If we don't play our 'A' game, they'll beat us. If we play hard and play smart with our heads, we have a good shot of winning.

I think us fouling them down low and us being behind their post players got them back in the game. We were making silly fouls. We weren't being smart underneath tonight.

I'm glad he won the slam-dunk contest, but I don't think they have a scoring system like that when you play a game. And I think he's smart enough to understand that when you have Marbury and Francis and Jamal, you can't play everybody.

We play a simple game and play hard and play smart. We understand it's going to be hard and they'll have a good atmosphere. We know it's a best-of-five series now. We have to play well.

It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard. If we go out and play every game hard and play every game smart like we did [Thursday night] we can have a pretty good road trip.

If you're Stan Heath, you're pulling your hair out. Although Stan doesn't have much; he's bald. End of shot clock, fouling a guy shooting a three. Not the smart play by Ferguson.

We obviously want to stay out of the box against that team as much as possible. We just have to play with how the game is being called and be smart. The way we like to play games, we like to play five-on-five.

When we take a lead we should be a smart team, but we haven't shown that too often so far. But I know our guys are going to play a little smarter and they know how important every game is in the playoffs. I believe in this team and I said at the beginning of the season that this team is going to surprise a lot of people. So we'll see.

Morgan does that basically every game. We put her on their point guard and we tell her to pressure without fouling, play good defense. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. When she does that, it puts the ball in someone else's hands that's possibly not used to bringing it up and it kind of throws their momentum off. She does a great job. Without her, we wouldn't be the team we are.

They're really smart defensively, without fouling.

They were fouling the hell out of me all game and we were down by 30. I was just frustrated. We didn't play like I thought we'd play, but that's just the way it goes.
