Johnson is an outstanding team and I have no doubt that they could win that game. I think our area is as tough as it comes and it would surprise me to see several of us or all of us advance. But, there are a lot of good teams out there so we'll have to play our best to advance.

Every team's objective in postseason play is the same: to advance. It's pretty simple. At the end of the day you advance or you're done. Six teams from our conference will probably get in (the NCAA Tournament). Drury is in. (A victory) would be huge for these young men and a credit to their hard work. But it's always a building process. Our first goal was to get into postseason play.

Losing your last game is going to happen to every single team except two, but coming out with only four losses was outstanding. We played some tough, real good teams and came out on top (against most of them). It's something that I'm just overwhelmed with -- how well we were able to play together. This should be an outstanding game. They are a very, very good team. North Central is one of the best teams in the state, has one of the best players in the nation, and they've got an outstanding coaching staff. It's going to be a very tough test.

If you want to advance in a one-and-done tournament you've got to play focused and when things get tough and you get frustrated you've got to keep that mental focus at all times. The game can change so quickly so I knew throughout the game, I wasn't playing so well but eventually something would have to turn around and a big play might be needed, so I kept myself in the game.

The team has been really great this year. When we see a couple of guys advance, we want all of us to advance.

We work closely enough with the players during the week. Jose does preparation in advance of the game and his colleagues know things in advance.

They did a great job, played us tough, but I think we were a little flat being off for eight days. I think maybe we didn't take the game as seriously as we should've. We have to play a lot better than that to advance.

Flat out, the past several years -- to be totally honest -- we weren't good enough to advance. They didn't advance far enough in the tournament because maybe some of the past teams weren't built to make a deep run in the tournament.

I want our team to advance, but I'd like to advance in (the singles) tournament, too.

I thought it was a very good game. Both teams played hard, and both teams pitched well and, for the most part, played pretty good defense. We had some opportunities with guys on base; we just couldn't get the bunt down to advance the runner.

Everybody's role on the team is a lot different than a year ago. For us, right now, it's really a one-game tournament. We've got to play to the best of our ability on Friday and hopefully advance and be able to play on Saturday.

It is a one-shot game, one-shot deal. Sometimes the ?best' teams don't always advance on in the NCAA tournament. That's why there are so many ups and downs, and that's why there are upsets, because there is one game. One game, you don't play well that particular night, you are going to go home.

An interesting game, no doubt about it. Reading Holy Name is a tough team to play against because of the way that they play. They did nice job and their big kids are bigger that we were. I'm very happy to get out of here with a win and we are now guaranteed another three games and most teams are not in that situation.
