We're not ready to win a State championship with them, but I thought they passed their first test. What I really like about them is every scrimmage they got better. We have pointed out mistakes and every scrimmage they got better.

It is so comfortable when you play at home. You have your own locker room and your own routine. It's tough to play on the road. He's got to play more minutes and be more responsible. That's why it's team game. You can have a 10th man in the starting lineup. We have guys one through 12 that we feel good about putting in games.

Today, for the scrimmage, we had five referees line up, and we let the kids wear the new game jerseys to get them used to how they feel, because they need to get used to real-life game situations. Our main focus was to get through the scrimmage healthy, which we did.

We lay our hat that we can run the ball. In the first half, we won the line of scrimmage. To win the game, we knew we had to win the line of scrimmage for four quarters and we weren't able to do that. We won it for a while.
