Art got a little ordsprog

en Art got a little ding to his ankle. We put ice on it and taped him up at halftime and he was fine. We decided we would bring him back if we need him; fortunately we didn't. We missed him though because he is a go-to-guy for us. It was a nice test to play without him.

en I'm not sure I have said all year how tough Ashley Underwood is and tonight best epitomized it at halftime when the buzzer went off and she was still running down the stairs after icing and getting her ankle re-taped at halftime.

en It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

en Everyone that watched the game and knows how I play could tell there was something on my knee, ... I didn't feel as mobile. We took it off at halftime and taped it and it felt a lot better. If I can go without a brace, I'm going to do it.

en I didn't think it was that bad but the swelling never went down. Her knee was fine, but her ankle, she tripped (Wednesday) early in the second half trying to get over a pick-and-roll and it swelled up a little bit after the game. Then today, it was worse. We'll keep getting treatment. It's not a high ankle sprain so hopefully by Sunday, she can play.

en You worry it's a knee or an ankle, and fortunately he just got a little spike. He'll be fine. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. You worry it's a knee or an ankle, and fortunately he just got a little spike. He'll be fine.

en He's been battling through that. He rolled (it) right toward the latter part of winter conditioning. I was going to say something to him before practice because he wasn't taped. He's usually taped on that one ankle and he wasn't. But he was after that.

en We didn't execute at all on the power play. Fortunately it didn't come back to haunt us. 'When you get a couple of nice goals at even strength like the ones Danny scored and a short-hander, it kind of helps to make up for it.

en I'm sick of all these injuries, tired of talking about them as well. My ankle will be taped very well. My mobility won't be a normal 100 percent, but I can see and hit the ball perfectly. I won't be using my spread that much. At this stage, it is important to find the right balance between resting and training. In my head I feel fine and that is what counts the most. I take it the fans will guide me through more difficult moments.

en It's nice to do it that way. Fortunately for me, the guys in the first two groups didn't play their best and let me have this one a little bit.

en With our new schemes, who better to test them against than A&M? The quarterback and running back had some nice seams to run through, and they took advantage of our mistakes. We missed a bunch of tackles.

en He hasn't been at his best in the last 3-4 months. His ankle is almost better so we'll test his vertical again soon. I don't see why he can't get to 43 or 44 inches. Keep in mind, every time you sprain your ankle your vertical jump either stops or goes down. We need to do some intensified ankle work with him.

en You hate to be negative. And you don't like to make excuses. But we have to play a lot more than we have the last couple of weeks. Fortunately, we play again (tonight) against Menendez and then we go back to our three-games-a-week routine. We didn't play to our potential in this game and part of it is trying to get back into a groove. But I think we'll be all right. We're glad to be playing a little more.

en We taped her ankle three times during the game, and she was just huge.

en He's practiced both days, and he's done pretty well, ... So we'll see. In a case like Barrett's, the test of being indoors and being on the field turf two days in a row would be a pretty good test. We'll see how he comes back tomorrow. He does have an ankle and a knee he's coming back from.
