en At the beginning of the season, Jordan was full of fire and real quick, but then she started having problems with her knees and ankles and back. It could be growing pains because she is a tall girl, so we really haven't seen her potential.

en We have a balanced, growing team just beginning to find its potential. Led by veterans Amanda Williams and Kelly Darby, who were joined by standout talent Susana Salazar, the Indians are looking forward to growing into a real contender by the end of this season. For the boys, we have a large crop of late arrivals that have recently come out, and we're hoping they help us rebuild our boys program toward where it stood in the league a few years back.

en We didn't do ourselves any favors with scheduling. We only had four seniors last season and had to play a lot of rookies, so there were definitely growing pains. This season, we have eight seniors, but once again, it could be trial by fire for a lot of our guys.

en Anytime you've got a young team like we do, you go through some growing pains. Hopefully the experience you've gotten in the beginning of the season pays off here in tournament time.

en I still haven't been able to find a baseball player who has had this. You think about elbows, shoulders, ankles, knees, but this is definitely a different thing.

en Whatever they laughed at the most, that's what we did on the screen. I had to do it in one day because I was doing the pratfalls on cement, and my body, knees, ankles, and toes started to hurt. We saw right then we had to get the number done in one day, and we did it.

en When you spend a lot of time on turf, it's hard on ankles, knees and hips. It does wear on you over the course of the season. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness.

en I would say it's been a learning process. We were somewhat inexperienced when we started the year. Simon Store was really the only guy back with a lot of experience, so I kind of felt there would be come growing pains and there have been.

en In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. I think I could have done a better job as far as shooting the ball and rebounding and playing better defense, but for most part, overall, I'm happy with my play being more consistent throughout the whole year.

en Hopefully, we'll be the team getting off to a quick start. If we're not the team getting off to a quick start, hopefully, we can stick with them. Last year, Chicago was just too tough at the beginning of the year and they just lost everybody else. We almost came back, but it fell short. Everyone says don't worry about the beginning of the season, but it is a key.

en We hadn't played in two weeks and only scored 12 points in the first half, but I was real proud of the way we played after that. They started out on fire. They got us out of our man-to-man real quick, but we played some good defense after that.
