Some nights are like that, especially on the drive and kick. They sucked us in and knocked down threes. It's not too many nights in the league on the road where you have shooting games like that. So you have to tip your hat off to them for all of those threes.

You've got to deal with it. Every night you are not going to be shooting 55% and hitting 12 threes. Some nights are just going to come down to defense.

Tuesday nights is Men's League and Thursday nights is Ladies' League. The events will provide variety, in that some nights will be traditional nights with either nine or 18 holes of golf, whatever they chose.

Our philosophy has always been you better pack your defense and your board work on the road. Because those ugly nights and those poor shooting nights — you just have to grind games out. Today, we just had to grind it out.

They knocked down threes. That was the key to the game. We were bad in transition and they knocked down threes.

We just lost our patience on offense. We had guys stepping out and shooting threes who don?t shoot threes.

Defense. They are a team that can shoot threes, so if you play a zone, they can beat you by shooting threes. So that's why we played more aggressive.

I thought we had a shot there when we hit those threes. But we were all on the bench when Hay hit his three and we all thought, 'Great, he's shooting threes in the last minute of the game.' That was kind of the death bell for us.

We're usually a six for 15, or better, 3-point team. To make one three out of all the good threes. We didn't' just jack up threes. We had some really good looks. Our kids just have to keep shooting. They shot the ball great in the first half — I've never seen a team shoot so many threes (41 on the night). I think they got tired and were still shooting threes from the outside, and we started getting the ball inside.

It's tough to kill the five-on-threes and four-on-threes. (Andy) Delmore has that big booming shot and hits the net quite a bit. Our PK has won us games throughout the year and they'll lose you a game here and there.

The shot felt good. They were going down. I've worked on it my whole life. With shooting, some nights are going to be great and some nights are going to be terrible.

We stepped up defensively. We held Stockton to no threes, and 30 percent shooting from the field. Unfortunately, we only shot 28 percent from the field. Some timely threes from Donovan kept us in the game.

We got happy just taking the threes. After a tough game (a 95-89 loss at Detroit on Friday), you may not have the leg strength. That was key. We were trying to penetrate and kick. The shots didn't go down. Just don't blame it on shooting. You can never blame a loss on shooting. It's what you do defensively.
