We were down to our last straw several times. All second half, we had opportunities to lay down and quit. But we didn't do it.

At halftime, we made the adjustments and stepped up defensively and held them to 36 points in the second half. We quit screwing around out there, didn't give them easy (opportunities).

It was a great first half. We hit their posts a bunch of times and controlled the tempo throughout the half. We had many opportunities to be ahead by three or four goals; we just couldn't finish.

We didn't get a lot of second opportunities. A lot of times it was one and done. Against a team like West, that spells trouble. That being said, they did dominate the glass, yet we still had opportunities.

What you saw tonight was a team that didn't quit, that battled, that pushed the game the second half. I was disappointed with the two goals we conceded in the first half. But in the end, we got a tie, we're in the playoffs, we've reached goal No. 1 and that's very good.

We had our opportunities. The girls didn't quit. They easily could've folded their tents.
