en They score in a lot of different ways, and it seems like that never goes away. They can score in large spurts. They had a prime example of that in their last game. We didn't want to relax or let up because we knew they were capable of running off 10, 12 or 14 points in a matter of a few minutes.

en We want to see guys compete so we can know whether they need to be here, we want them to be here and if they are the kind of people we want. The record doesn't really matter, the result doesn't matter and the score in the game doesn't really matter.

en We need to capitalize on some of our chances. That's what changes the game, special teams. The first seven or eight minutes of that period, that's the game. No matter what the score is, that's the game right there.

You can see we're not scoring runs efficiently. It doesn't matter how great your defense looks. You've got to produce runs. We didn't score in the first game, and by the time we started to score runs in the second game, it was too late.

en It didn't matter, they were still going to lose. As long as we win the game, I am good. I don't have so much pride that I can't see the big picture.
