We are getting away from what we do, and guys are looking too far ahead to the playoffs. We have to do the things that we have always done. Teams aren't just going to lay down for us.

en This is the time of year you wait for, and we're right there. Guys who have never been in the playoffs before will feel that pressure. We're approaching the finish line of an 82-game season. It now goes from a marathon to a sprint, and when you're bunched up with other teams like we are, it's not talent that will get you there, but commitment. en We're still a run-oriented team. We take pride in our offensive line. Even with a line that was 4/5th new last year we ran for 2,000 yards. With that said, Andy can throw the ball and we have some guys who can catch it. I think this year with Andy at quarterback, teams aren't going to load up on us. The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.

en In a strange sort of way, this is probably our best loss of the season. It lets you know we can't coast to the finish line.

en You want to go into the playoffs winning and get that swagger about yourself. If you go into the playoffs losing, you don't feel that great about yourself and teams look at the things you didn't do well and try to key on those things and make you look bad. You want to build up as the season progresses along.

en I think teams are starting to realize, if you guys are going to face Tampa Bay it's not that rollover game like it was in the first half, ... Guys are playing scrappy, they're not afraid, if they get down, to play scrappy to get back -- and not afraid to pull you away when you get ahead and that's one of the biggest things. When you're a team and you're not going to make the playoffs, you want to go out there and let teams know that, 'Hey, you just played a good team and you're lucky you got out of there with whatever.' You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'

en The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away. I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point. I wanted to get back a little closer to 100 per cent (before returning) ... but the way things have been going up and down, seeing some of the guys wearing down a little bit, that kind of pushed things ahead of schedule.

en They've won some games but ... they're just beating up on bad teams, basically. It's not often that you all of a sudden see teams start beating good teams in the playoffs when they haven't done it all season. There is little reason to believe Miami can win the whole thing.

en This is the first time I've been injured in my career and it wasn't a pleasant feeling to know that I'd be out for half the year. Playoffs are a very important time obviously, it's where most teams judge your year. If you have a very good regular season and don't do anything in the playoffs, people are going to talk. I'm going to be relatively fresh for the playoffs. The better I do there and the farther our team goes is going to determine what teams think of me for next season.

en I expect us to be in the playoffs next year. We've got a great group of young guys and hopefully it will stay together. I think we can build off the finish we had to this season and do some great things next year.
