We played two big games in a row. They want to stay on this roll. Undefeated in our league, -- that's a hell of a thing right now.

We were 5-0, but we never thought we'd roll through the league undefeated. Thursday's game (at East Davidson) is just as big as this one.

After three League games, we have the same number of points as last year even if we have played two away games this time round, ... As we got back on the right track last season, including making up an eight-point gap in a few games, we just need to stay calm.

That's two months without a win. It was awful. It was hell. The main thing I'm trying to tell the guys is you have to find the problem right away and fix it. Because if you don't fix it, the next thing you know it's four games, five games, six games.

Going undefeated in this league is something. It's not easy to do. There were a number of tough games in there.

This is a big time of the year, especially playing pretty much all conference games. (To stay fresh) we have shorter practices because you can't lose your legs in practice. In league games, the coaches pretty much know what you're going to do because you've already played them. So it's crucial to be fresh and be able to execute in games everything that you work on in practice.

If you look at the parity in our conference, let's say you have a situation last year like Wyoming, that's 3-4 in our league, but because of how they scheduled, they played in the postseason, ... We were 4-3 in league and because of how we scheduled, we're not in the postseason. Ultimately, you have to beat who you play and execute at that level. But to not address scheduling in that discussion isn't a wise thing to do. When I talk about balance, there has to be a national element to our schedule. It's what is expected at BYU and it's what the standard has been here. Last year, we played three undefeated teams (Boise State, Utah, USC). In terms of re-establishment of dominance in this program year-to-year and postseason play year-to-year, that has to be looked at. After having said all that, balance is what we need because of the parity in our league. It could be realistic that it's 5-3 to win the league. Or 6-2. What about all the teams that are 4-4? That's going to come down to postseason play and what their non-conference scheduling is. Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there.

They were disappointed. ... They could've had an opportunity to go through league undefeated again, which is a pretty tough deal to do. ... But it's gone, and we'll have to play smart basketball the rest of the way to stay in first place.

It's good to get back to even in the league and I hope we can stay in this little bit of a roll we started.

We can't overlook anyone. Redmond is 2-6 in league, but they've played a lot of close games, including being up 14 on us in the first quarter. We've won three league games by three or fewer points. We know anyone can beat anyone in the conference.

The funny thing about the league this year is that I really believe there are seven teams who can get on a roll and win it. It's not the league of the past nine years where Liberty is just head and shoulders above everyone else. They can get knocked off just as easily as we could, or any other school in the conference.

We all worked hard in camp, but when you get in games, it's a little different. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. We're not going to beat our guys up. We were all part of this deal. We'll watch tape tomorrow (Sunday) and see what happens. The big thing we told the guys was they had to stay together ... we're just going to roll our sleeves up and work. We have some growing pains right now.

The rankings and that sort of thing, quite honestly I don't pay a whole lot of attention to. The big thing for us is Wisconsin was 4-0 and the only undefeated team in the league. That was a tremendous motivator for us -- knocking off the team ahead of us right now.

Our four years have been amazing. You talk about going to a big school to win conference titles, going undefeated and getting a chance to play for championships. We won a championship, we went undefeated last year. We went to four bowl games.

It feels good, but at times, maybe being undefeated isn't always the best thing. It's not like we are a given undefeated. We have to work for every game.
