Injuries are going to happen week in and week out in the NFL; it's how your depth responds to that. The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends. You see some teams that are demoralized by injuries. I think we're one team that has depth at just about every position. We're confident we won't miss a beat whether it's the first string guy or the second string guy.

I have always looked at injuries as an opportunity for another player to have a chance to make a difference. Dealing with injuries is part of coaching. You learn that right away when you take over. I am sure Brian (Nash) is finding out about dealing with injuries, too.

(The injuries) were costly. But in dealing with the injuries it brings you closer together and you become tighter. Adversity builds character, and every team gets tested in some way. I think we did a pretty good job dealing with them.

We'll stick to our normal schedule, a lot like (the) New England (Patriots) did last week. We'll get out there late Saturday, and we'll play Sunday. I don't think it will have much of an effect.

We have a lot of depth and you're seeing it. We didn't want to tap into it as much, but with the injuries, we had to. (But) when you're healthy, that depth doesn't mean anything because (guys) sit over on the bench being ticked off.

Last week was a long week for us. We try to put the week in perspective. We are still optimistic. The first third of our schedule is probably the hardest part of our schedule.
