en Nobody wants to be the oldest guy in the clubhouse, but everybody has their role. Everybody has their chance. It's like I tell them: As long as you've got a uniform on, you've always got a chance to play in the major leagues. It's not a big jump from here.

en There are a lot of guys that don't have a role and don't get a chance to play, ... His versatility plays in the big leagues. [Sorensen] is getting his chance. You never give up that dream, and [Sorensen] is playing very well.

en He's earned it and can help us. He's getting a chance. And he can get [beat up] and still get another chance. He's going to hold his own. I think he's going to be pretty good. He's getting a good chance to establish himself in the Major Leagues.

en I knew if I got a chance to play with Favre, and play in this green and gold uniform, it'd be [a] chance that I probably would never see again, ... I don't know what they were missing [at receiver] last year, but whatever it is, I'm hoping I can fill that void.

en My career's pretty much a major fluke. I probably wasn't the guy that was expected, or should have been in the big leagues or even the minor leagues when I first started. en I am disappointed that Amber has chosen not to return. I certainly expected her to contribute this season, but we have a strong incoming class that will have an immediate chance to play a major role.

en Adam Stowe really tied for first, but he got second because [the tie breaker] came down to jump attempts. Our performances today were encouraging. en He's earned this opportunity with the way that club's responded to him in terms of his leadership on the field and in the clubhouse. Obviously, his focus on trying to play the game the right way is going to be very important to us going forward, and that's throughout our minor-league system, all the way up here to the major leagues.

en I think I appreciate now a lot more what happened to me. The injury gave me a chance to reflect on how lucky I was that I made it [to the major leagues] in about 1 ½ years.

en I had a chance and things didn't work out, but I'm excited to be back. They couldn't get me a spot in the major leagues, so I'm here.
