I guess we don't like charity, because they gave us the ball a few times in that first half and we couldn't put it away. I'm proud, though - these kids played their guts out.

This is a tough loss because the kids wanted it so bad. We actually had them on the ropes a couple times in the first half but couldn't keep the turnovers down. It's a fine line ? you don't want them tentative and you don't want them throwing the ball away. I'm still real proud of how we played, a lot of desire and heart.

This is one you're just going to second-guess forever and ever and ever. It's hard to look at the positives but that's our job to do. We played the best team in the league . . . and we had them beat, played our hearts and guts out and just couldn't finish the job.

I'm proud of the way our team played. But we did turn the ball over too many times in the first half. That was the key.

The first half we just couldn't get much going. Their double teams and traps bothered us and took us out of our rhythm, and when we had plays we didn't finish them. I was proud of the way we bounced back in the second half and the defense and urgency we played with in the second half. We just couldn't quite get over the hump.

We spent all week talking about second-half intensity and performance. Our guys showed a lot of heart and guts to come back like we today. I'm proud of the way we played and how we stepped it up in the second half.

We played real well. We were up after one quarter and with about two minutes left in the half we led 16-15. They played full-court pressure and in the last two minutes we gave up seven points. We just couldn't inbound the ball.

These kids gave a great effort tonight. We were proud of them in the second half. And I think the kids feel a lot better about themselves after the way they came out in the second half. We have some positives to take away from this.

Our kids played hard. Unfortunately, we just couldn't get the ball to drop in the second half, while they shot 65 percent.

And you see want happened when we did run our offense in the second half. The inside was open for easy shots. Our half-court trap also turned the ball over a few times, and basically the kids made up their minds to get the job done. They played their hearts out.

I'm very proud of our kids, I'm very proud of the effort. Nobody gave us any shot ... We've been talking about Roosevelt and some of the other teams, but I tell you what, my team played with a lot of heart and a lot of character, and I'm very proud of them.

The kids played very hard. They could have folded, but that's what the Bobcat tradition is all about. We never gave up. I'm proud of the players, proud of the coaches and proud of the seven seniors that are on this team.

It was a heck of a game. I was proud of our kids for maintaining their composure. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her laugh without trying to be funny. It was a game of runs and how you counter their runs makes the difference. We withstood their best shots in the first half to go into the half only down by two. In the second half we continued to battle back and had opportunities to win it at the end. We had good looks, but the shots would just rim out. It was no one's fault. It is just how the ball bounces at times.

In that first half, they gave us their best shot and we were right there. With the exception of a couple rimmed-out shots on our part, we were a point or two away. We played our guts out.

It was the tale of two halves. We couldn't get anything going in the first half, but the defense played well and in the second half, we were able to move the ball down the field, but we couldn't find a way to stop them.
