I think we've done pretty well. I feel like we've got a lot of the kinds of players we went after. We've got some good athletes in here. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. I think we've done pretty well. The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

I think he's one of those guys that Earl Weaver talked about, when you get into the car, you come to the park and know that he's pitching for you, you feel pretty good. I certainly feel pretty good. I feel pretty good with all of them right now. They're all doing a good job. Hopefully, it's contagious and we can keep it up.

We are pleased and excited to add these five student-athletes to our program. We feel that they address some of our immediate needs and will also add depth to the team. They are all excellent soccer players, good students and of good character, which are important elements as we move forward in the BIG EAST.

We have a lot of good athletes here. In the past, we haven't done well against other teams, but now I think we have better athletes and better players and we're on point.

They were better conditioned than us and are superior athletes. This game showed my players how hard you have to work to compete at this level. We are closing the gap, and I feel good about this team.

We don't have guys go to college to play ball. We have good athletes who buy into what we're doing and play hard. You have a couple good players and a bunch of guys that accept their roles, you can have a pretty good team every year.

Most of our players are soccer first and tennis second. We have some pretty good athletes, but in order to be real competitive in high-school tennis, it takes more than being a good athlete. In most cases, you've got to take some lessons or work on your game individually. I don't have many of those.

The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

Obviously, she put me in much more trouble with her serve than the match before, ... Even if these kinds of matches don't give you a lot of rhythm, it's good to play these kinds of players that hit very hard and make the points in two or three shots.

You've got to know that you're going to see those kinds of teams every week in the SEC and see those kinds of athletes. To execute is certainly at a premium, and you've got to be able to do that. I don't think we have anything to be ashamed about, losing to LSU and Georgia. We just have to make sure that we play better.

A good day for the Auburn Tigers. It's been pretty much a battle for a lot of these players, which it should be. We feel like we got the guys we need to help us win championships. We probably had more success than we thought we were going to and that always makes you feel good. Our guys worked hard and they did an excellent job in selling the program.

Players have to be nominated. We've done a ton of film-watching and studying. We were looking not only for good players, but also good citizens. I really feel good about our players. We've done good homework on them as far as who they are as players and also as young men.
