en That's a different one. I think that obviously people are more apt to go to the more quicker online reality, just like people don't buy records anymore because they can just go listen to them online, iTunes , or whatever it is. At the same time, I still think there's something to be said about the people that are real diehard fans that want something physical in there hands. I'm all about the Internet — you know, click on and get the information that I want — but I’m also the guy that grew up knowing that that new MÖTLEY CRÜE spread came out from Hit Parader magazine. So saying all that, that's my opinion on that one. I think you're probably right in that magazines are probably going to be a thing of the past eventually. I still think that as long as there is a checkout line at the grocery store, where they put the stupid Enquirer , there will be magazines for different things that people find interest in that's going to be bought.

en This is the greatest stock-buying mania of all-time, people are buying stocks, they're buying blue chips, with no regard to value. In this respect, it's similar to 1929. People believe that as long as you're buying, everything's fine. This is a dangerous market, you should make no mistake about that.

en I called my wife to find out if we had bought any of the beef, but I couldn't remember what brand it was. I decided to do some research online and couldn't find anything there either. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. So I think IBM can be bought. I don't think it's expensive here.

en We've loved General Motors ( GM : Research , Estimates ) for a long time because we think management is doing a lot of right things, in terms of unlocking shareholder value. I think Carl Icahn has caught onto the fact that there is an opportunity there for management to keep unlocking shareholder value. The pieces are clearly worth twice today's price, and the company is going to do well through the current economic cycle.

en People shop for Christmas gifts and other goods online. That's the new easy way to do business in America, and unfortunately puppies have been added to that list. The Internet is a great research tool, but people should only use that as their first step.

en AOL's (customer) base has been with AOL for a long time and has long-established relationships with people. Your online identity is defined by your e-mail address and online or screen name. AOL does community very well.

en I bought this place, obviously, as an investment. One always looks to maximize the allure. I saw it as an opportunity to showcase the house to celebrities and the type of people who might be interested in buying it one day.

And if it's not, than you're probably half way down to the ultimate low and that's going to be an even more fabulous buying opportunity.

en The typical leadership in the big bull market, the consumer brand names, those stocks are almost off the horizon now. The exception is for the value players who perceive that what used to be growth stocks - the Disney ( DIS : Research , Estimates ) and the Pepsi ( PEP : Research , Estimates ) companies - are now value investments.
