en Match play is crazy. That's definitely a big accomplishment, beating the number one player in the world. I'm proud of myself right now.

en It's not about beating the number three player in the world. It's about making the first point against the United States, one of the biggest nations in tennis. Winning from two sets down is going to go in my record for sure and my memories. But it's a match where you have to win three points.

en I wish they'd give the trophy away today, but they don't. It's definitely an accomplishment, and I'm proud of myself for grinding it out and playing so well against the No. 1 player in the world.

en For me it's another match against the world number one? He's the best sportsman in the world today. But he's also a normal person and that's not easy when you're the best tennis player in the world. I send him messages (of congratulations) when he wins in Wimbledon and other places.

en We want to improve every match; to learn from every match, to be consistent and the number one goal for every player is to play at the best of your ability every day. If they meet those simple goals, everything else will take care of itself by the end of the season. If we can combine them all, we will be competitive by the end of the year.

en It's a shame that he's not playing but anybody in any game is capable of beating anyone else so it is all going to be quite close. The standard between number 10 in the world and number 40 in the world is one shot over a tournament, never mind just over 36 holes. So expect a lot of the games to come down to the last hole or even further.

en That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. I enjoy playing with Tiger. I've come close to beating him at the (World Golf) Match Play, but I don't think too many players have a great record against Tiger.

en To beat an unbelievable Florida team the way we did it with Caitlin [Collins] winning the final match was great. We are so proud of her coming through for the team defeating the number five player in the country.

en We think it will be a new and different thing to play the match play at Ted Rhodes. It's a challenging course. It's got a lot of water and a lot of hazards, and with the higher quality of player that we've been getting in the match play of the Schooldays, I just think it will be kind of exciting to watch them play that venue.

en They're going to have to wrestle well, but they all could place. Right now, they're in the top 32 in the state and every match they win that number gets smaller. It's a good accomplishment to get to the final 32, but let's build on it.

en He's a very gritty player ? perfect for match play. I hope he's on our Ryder Cup team because he certainly knows how to play match play and play under pressure.

en Sarah Hughes won a huge match for us, beating their normal No. 2 player in three sets.

en That was a pretty solid win in fairly hostile territory. I'm very proud of the guys, the match - it was a big match for [Florida State], they had their band out playing during the match and a lot of promotional assistance and they had a big crowd. It was a fun atmosphere in which to play.

en We cover match play differently than stroke play. For example, when we go to a match, we stay with it. You can't jump around from player-to-player and hole-to-hole as you would in a stroke play event.

en In spite of all this time I expect to be summoned; I feel so proud when this happens. Even if Brazil wins its World Cup ticket in the match against Chile, I still want to play the last two qualifiers,
