en The University of Iowa was the talk of the town. There were no pro sports. It was a nice environment and seemed like the right place for me.

en We are light years ahead of the closest university to us. If every university did what we did, the environment would be a much better place.

en Coming to a university town is always nice. It's a nice change from going to the sort of major, capital cities.

en There must be some people in Iowa that think the University of Iowa is like the minor league ? preparing people for their next step. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. I don't think that is saying anything disparaging about Iowa ? it just seems to be a good breeding ground in the eyes of search committees at more prestigious institutions.

en I think we need to continue to have a strong relationship with the University of Iowa, get the town moving forward and continue to grow our tax base. It's what this council has been doing over the last eight years.

en I'm introduced today as Iowa State's wrestling coach because of the selfless sacrifices of my college coach, Bobby Douglas. I promise to work as hard as I did as a competitor to build upon the traditions I've inherited as head coach. Iowa State University is a special place to our family. en I'm more inclined to go back now because Limerick has changed so much. One of the reasons it was such a grim... or the grimmest of all towns, was that it was the only large city or town in Ireland that didn't have a university. So they put in a university about 20 years ago, and it has changed the whole atmosphere of the place.

en It's a unique Iowa success story because the lab at the University of Iowa has been the leader in the field since its inception.

en This is a barbershop, not a hair salon. You come in here not trying to impress anyone. It's a place just to talk, to hang out with the fellows, talk about sports, women, relationships.

en I think it's a good gesture by the city to do something that complements the university and the town in such a nice way.

en We aren't pushing a particular agenda, but we're opening a dialogue on how we need to be doing something different. We think it is positive to talk about ideas. We selected the university to do that because the university is intended to be a place where you can debate ideas without being polarized.

en I love central Iowa. There's so much to do, so many great people. The sports scene from girls' basketball to the Iowa Cubs to teams at Wells Fargo Arena is really high right now.

en I'd be a liar if I sat here and told you this isn't what I've worked my whole career for. There is no place I wanted to coach other than Iowa. I was late for some things as a kid, but I was never late for Iowa public television broadcasts of Iowa wrestling.
